In some cases, there is a required $3.00 co-pay for the procedure. Several of the services, such as dentures and extractions will require prior authorization from the state before we’re allowed to proceed.
Receiving Procedures Not Covered By Medicaid
We’re firm believers in affordable dental care. If you need a procedure that your Medicaid doesn’t generally cover or won’t give the prior authorization, we will offer you a discounted fee or otherwise work with you. We want to do everything we can to help you received the care you need.
Can I Get Braces through Medicaid?
Ohio’s Medicaid only covers braces for patients under 21 and only under certain conditions. However, that doesn’t mean we won’t work with you. In fact, we give a discount to Medicaid patients who need braces, because we want everyone to receive the care they need.
